“She will not burn because she is the fire. She is the spark that lights the darkest of nights.” I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The character development of the main character, Rowan, was fantastic. She definitely grew into “the fire” as the book progressed. The story is fun. The sex scenes are steamy. The end of the book was so suspenseful and exciting, I almost killed myself reading it in the hallways going to use the restroom at work. Cool book, and a great start to an amazing series.

Wow! She has done it again. The depth of these characters is unbelievable. The story is unpredictable and will catch you off guard with the twists and turns. Hard breaking and inspiring all wrapped up in one. If you can’t relate to one or more of these characters, then you haven’t lived a full enough live. Love, pain, anger and vindication and just some of the feelings that will run through you as the pages turn. Can’t wait for the next book already. Slowed down reading the last 2 chapters because I didn’t want it to end!

This author is amazing!!! I was not able to put the book down. She keeps you guessing every step of the way and just when you think you know what is going to happen she twists it and something even better happens. When you are reading it you find yourself wishing you were right there with the characters and that this was real life not a book. You fall in love with all the characters and she makes them seem so alive . The worst part is when you finish it because it was so good you can’t wait for the next one.

Book one was intense. Book two, Shine is more, its fierce and powerful. This is Adam’s story, oh and what a story. Adam has been here since the beginning, of time!! Hint think (Adam and Eve). So with that being said, living that long can get lonely and a bit dark. In walks Brinley, Rowan’s bestie and Adam sunshine!!!! Adam being a warrior, hardheaded one fights it. Who can resist sunshine?? Not Adam!

This book is amazing. I couldn’t put it down and I’m excited to see what happens in the next book. If you’re a fan of Karen Marie Moning then Briana Michaels is going to be your new best friend.

I love these characters, I love the story, I love the writing style, I love that the surprises keep coming. I love this book!

This series just keeps getting better! The plot just keeps thickening and the men just keep getting hotter. I can’t wait for the next book!

I LOVED this book. If you like fantasy, fae, paranormal, or an excellently written combination of the above, this book is for you. I’m excited to continue this series and read the continuation of these characters. An excellent 5 STAR read. Don’t miss it. And I really have no idea how every review is not a 5 star for this one. Seriously, if you read it, how could you give it less? At any rate, this is one I’ll go back to and reread and I don’t say that often. A refreshing new author with a lot of talent, be sure to set some time aside because you won’t want to put it down until finished. I read it in less than a day. Enjoy the wild ride, it’s a guaranteed pleasurable one!
